Plain-language rules for playing WikiDerby. By playing, you agree to them.

Who can play

You need to be at least 13 to have a WikiDerby account. If you live in the EEA or the UK and your country sets a higher age for agreeing to have your data processed (it varies between 13 and 16), that age is the minimum for you, unless a parent or guardian agrees on your behalf.

If you are under 18, only buy W-Bucks with the permission of whoever owns the payment method. A purchase made without that permission gets refunded — see the refund policy.

If we learn an account belongs to someone below the minimum age, we will close it and delete the data behind it. A parent or guardian can ask us to do that at any time by emailing support@wikiderby.io.

Fair play

No bots (except ours), no exploits, and no attacks on the service. We may suspend access to protect the service or other players.

Chat

Multiplayer has chat, and it is shared with strangers. Keep it to the race: no harassment, threats, slurs, sexual content, or spam. Do not share personal details — your address, school, phone number or social accounts — and do not ask anyone else for theirs.

Messages pass through an automatic filter: the worst words are blocked outright, and repeating them switches your chat off. Every player can mute anyone (their messages disappear for you) and report anyone, which sends the surrounding conversation to us to look at. We may mute, remove or close accounts over what turns up there.

Virtual items and W-Bucks

W-Bucks are in-game content, not money. They have no monetary value outside the game, cannot be transferred or sold between players, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

W-Bucks you buy are added to the account you were logged into at the time of purchase, and you need that account to spend them. Purchases are tied to accounts, not to a device or browser.

The game will change

WikiDerby is actively developed. Features, items, prices and stored progress may change, and progress may be reset as the game evolves. If we ever shut the game down, we will say so on this page and stop selling W-Bucks before we do.

Article text comes live from Wikipedia and is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Each article links back to its source. Text is modified for gameplay: links become game moves, site chrome is removed, and challenge effects may visually alter the page. Images stay hosted by Wikimedia under their own licenses.
